Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at our Hell's Kitchen location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our infants (6 weeks - 12 months)
  • Establish a warm, responsive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum activities that align with our six ages and stages of early childhood development
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of each child's progress, including observations, assessments, and developmental milestones
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily experiences, including meals, naps, and activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Associate degree or higher with relevant experience considered
  • At least one year of professional teaching experience in infant care, preferably with CDA certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and commitment to providing high-quality, play-based education
  • CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications in areas such as infant care, special needs, or administration may be beneficial
