Role Summary

Kowalski's and Starbucks provide a comprehensive training program designed to nurture, engage, and invest in the growth of our baristas and future leaders. Our hands-on training methodology equips baristas with the knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to cultivate a welcoming and supportive environment through genuine customer appreciation and excellent service. Establishing strong relationships with colleagues through open communication and teamwork is essential.

Memorization is crucial for ensuring drink consistency and customer loyalty. Our baristas craft blended beverages and refreshments using Starbucks recipes, adhering to a specific preparation sequence.

Available Positions

Barista 1 - Evening Shift:
  • Availability for 14 to 20 hours weekly
    • Willingness to close 2-3 evenings per week (Monday to Thursday)
    • Evening availability (3 or 4 PM start time) is a requirement
    • Must be available on Sundays
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Barista 2 - Morning/Afternoon Shift:
    • Flexible schedule for 16 to 24 hours weekly
    • Must be available to start by 7 AM or work until 5:30 PM
    • Availability required for both weekdays and weekends, especially Sundays
    • Must be available for 2 of 3 weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • General Requirements for All Positions:
    • Interest in coffee and beverage preparation
    • Adherence to state health codes in food handling
    • Desire to gain product knowledge to enhance customer service
    • Team-oriented mindset
    • Commitment to maintaining drink consistency and eagerness to learn new recipes
    • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and cleanliness skills
