About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Team Lead to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Medical Assistant Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise less experienced medical assistants to ensure the efficient delivery of patient care services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide training and mentorship to medical assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a certificate medical assistant program from an approved school or three years of equivalent experience as a medical assistant.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • 3 years minimum experience as a medical assistant from an approved school or two additional years of experience as a medical assistant office assistant.
