Job Summary

ATS Trans, LLC is seeking a skilled Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation services, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles to transport passengers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking vehicles, including those with mobility impairments.
  • Relate to and handle various passenger personalities and recognize passenger needs.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company uniform standards.
  • Effectively communicate with dispatch center staff and utilize GPS and mapping tools to ensure efficient routes.
  • Report accidents or incidents to supervisor and complete necessary reports.
  • Maintain accurate passenger records and vehicle inspection reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 21 years of age and 5 years of driving experience.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and 3 years of clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of company-provided training program.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Excellent attendance record and ability to work varying shifts.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include sitting for extended periods, walking, pushing/pulling, stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to maneuver 300 pounds (passenger and wheelchair) over a 6-inch curb and up typical wheelchair ramps is also required.
