About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our customers, utilizing your expertise in automotive repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including tire and tire repair, car heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling systems, batteries, starting and charging, brakes and brake repair, oil changes, and mufflers and exhaust services.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with peers to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate shop equipment, including lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree a definite plus. Hold state-specific auto repair certifications and a valid driver's license. Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics. Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment.
  • Personal Qualities: High personal productivity, knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $42.00 per hour.
