Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is motivational, passionate, and fun to support leadership of our Housekeeping team. The successful candidate will ensure the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel, and provide exceptional levels of service throughout their stay. This role requires a great attention to detail and a passion for creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Manage and build the housekeeping team, providing day-to-day support to the Director of Housekeeping.
  • Support the Director of Housekeeping in recruitment efforts and ensure safe working conditions and best practices.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling requirements.
  • Monitor work orders and submit to the Engineering department according to procedures.
  • Respond to all guest requests, situations, complaints, and accidents presented to Housekeeping in an attentive, courteous, and efficient way.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with other managers, employees, and all other departments.
  • Complete all reports in a timely and efficient manner as required by management.
Requirements
  • Two plus years of experience in housekeeping within a luxury resort.
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including assignment of duties, evaluating service, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, including service techniques and cost controls.
Compensation

The compensation for this position is $66,000.00/Yr. - $68,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
