Job Summary:

As a Patient Coordinator at Schweiger Dermatology Group, you will be responsible for executing all front office duties and providing support to patients, providers, and support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, and a detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Phone and Scheduling: Proficiently handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion, creating a positive phone call experience for each caller.
  • Front Office Support: Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s).
  • Inventory and Supplies: Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
  • Training and Development: Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Healthcare Experience: Preferred experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on medical reception or patient care.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR software and patient scheduling systems, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with excellent patient relation and customer service skills.
  • Availability: Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends, with a flexible schedule to support the team.
