About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead our Transit and TOD Architecture practice. As a key member of our Buildings + Places team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of professional services related to passenger stations, multi-modal transportation infrastructure, and Transit-Oriented Development (TOD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and urban strategists to deliver innovative transit facilities and TOD projects.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue targeted growth opportunities within the TOD market sector, and develop winning strategies for new projects.
  • Practice Building: Nurture a collaborative team environment, fostering innovation and excellence across all project phases, and provide thought leadership on key programs and global initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architecture, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Professional License as Architect (RA, AIA) or Planner (AICP).
  • Strong relationships with regional transit agencies, and experience in design/build projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering high-quality projects.
