Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Smart Contract Engineer to lead the design and implementation of off-chain infrastructure, protocols, and bridging solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Architecting high-performance solutions for seamless interoperability between diverse blockchain networks
  • Leveraging expertise in smart contracts, blockchain technologies, and distributed systems to drive innovation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize the entire rollup stack
  • Designing and implementing bridging solutions for cross-chain interoperability
  • Ensuring protocol rules, consensus mechanisms, and slashing mechanisms are enforced
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in smart contract development and decentralized protocols
  • Strong expertise in Solidity and Rust, with a deep understanding of lower-level features
  • Experience with rollup technologies, including sequencing, execution, data availability, and settlement
  • Knowledge of decentralized systems, on-chain/off-chain interactions, and consensus mechanisms
  • Proven track record in developing bridging solutions and enforcing protocol rules
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Contributions to blockchain research or EIPs
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols and extending them
