Job Title: Home Based Social Services Intern

Firefly Children and Family Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Based Social Services Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced staff and gain valuable experience in the field of social services.

Job Summary:

The Home Based Social Services Intern will assist our team in providing support to families and individuals in need. This will include conducting home visits, assessing client needs, and developing individualized plans to meet those needs. The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in team meetings, attend training sessions, and engage in other activities that support the mission of Firefly Children and Family Alliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct home visits to assess client needs and develop individualized plans
  • Assist in providing support to families and individuals in need
  • Participate in team meetings and attend training sessions
  • Engage in other activities that support the mission of Firefly Children and Family Alliance
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • A desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families
  • Capacity for all people to grow and change for the better
  • A valid driver's license and insurance
  • Clear, effective communication skills
  • Respect for confidentiality practices
  • Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences
  • Adept prioritization and time management abilities
