Job Summary

We are seeking a Counter Team Member and Barista to join our team at The Skinny Pancake. As a Counter Team Member and Barista, you will be a valued and integral part of our team from day one. You will have comprehensive, paid training while working with a hospitality-minded team that values compassion, community stewardship, accessibility, work ethic, and FUN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Gracious Hospitality to our guests by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Craft Delicious Beverages and Serve High-Quality Food by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all menu items and utilizing recipes and portion control.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment by prepping, restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
  • Work in a Team-Oriented, Collaborative Manner by participating in ongoing training and development and supporting colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Balance High Volume with High Quality by handling multiple beverage and food orders simultaneously and meeting targeted ticket times.

  • Engaging, Warm, and Welcoming Communication Skills and presence with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to Work Various Shifts including weekends, holidays, afternoons, and evenings with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Motivated to Learn Quickly and Grow in a professional, team-oriented environment with a commitment to ongoing training and development.
