Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled OR Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our team in Avondale, Arizona.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a level 1 trauma center with a multi-specialty OR, offering self-scheduling for regular shifts and call shifts. As an OR Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling efforts of the unit RNs, pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor staff
  • Coordinate scheduling efforts
  • Collaborate with hospital administration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Ability to reside within a 30-mile radius of the hospital
