As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines. You will render individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. You will also act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional nursing care within an assigned unit
  • Coordinating care planning with other disciplines
  • Rendering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care
  • Acting as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees

Requirements include:

  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
  • CPR and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • BSN degree
  • One year of acute care experience
  • Certification in specialty area of practice
