About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Tapestry's Tanger Outlets store in West Palm Beach, FL. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide renowned and authentic service that creates a luxury customer experience
  • Support a collaborative and team-oriented environment with peers, customers, and supervisors
  • Capture customer information to maintain and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and checkout operations in compliance with Tapestry policy
  • Complete each transaction accurately and efficiently, identifying sales associate productivity without disrupting the service environment
  • Resolve customer concerns and meet customer needs in a timely manner through solution-oriented and forward-thinking approaches, involving a manager when necessary

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of previous selling/cashier experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team (both oral and written), maneuver the sales floor, and meet moderate stockroom lifting and store climbing requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays
