Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire grants life cycle, from grant design to closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and donor regulations.
  • Develop and lead initial drafting of persuasive grant proposals and applications, collaborating across the organization to develop narratives aligned with our mission and priorities.
  • Communicate regularly with program staff and management to ensure all application and reporting materials are ready when needed.
  • Maintain the grant administration process using Bonterra and other appropriate systems to manage and track current grants, proposals, and budgets.
  • Monitor government channels and online rating agencies to ensure our records are up-to-date.
  • Support general fundraising activities and provide support for the development of materials that demonstrate organizational/program accomplishments and impact.
Requirements:
  • At least six (6) years of professional, institutional fundraising experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Extensive experience conceiving, developing, writing, and managing major institutional funding projects from multiple sources, including governmental agencies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for storytelling and ability to transform technical and legal issues into engaging narratives.
  • Detail-oriented with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering assignments within stringent deadlines.
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency in donor CRMs, research systems, MS Office software, and social media outlets.
Benefits:

Annual salary $90,000-110,000, dependent on years of experience. Benefits highlights include employer-paid health insurance, 27 days annual vacation, employer contribution to 401(k), and paid parental leave.
