Hillel UW, a vibrant part of the Seattle Jewish community, seeks an accomplished Community Leadership Director to spearhead our mission of inspiring students and young adults to explore, embrace, and celebrate Jewish life and identity. This role requires a commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and creating a supportive environment for students in all aspects of their campus, religious, and personal lives. You will lead and unify the diverse and committed Jewish campus community every day, including during times of both celebration and challenge.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eight years of experience in management roles in the Jewish or secular nonprofit community, higher education, or mission-driven organizational world. Prior Hillel experience is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading the vision for Hillel UW's future and shaping its strategic direction.
  • Fostering a team-oriented approach, a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor.
  • Developing and implementing innovative programming and resources that meet the needs of graduate students and young adults.
  • Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including lay leaders, local community members, and agencies.
  • Advancing financial resource development and cultivating stakeholders who will help achieve goals.

You will receive a competitive salary in the non-profit marketplace, estimated between $180,000 and $230,000 per annum, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
