Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit technical and organizational leadership.
  • Develop and conduct training on relevant support and technical documentation.
  • Establish standards and documented processes for Meriplex teams to deliver services to clients.
  • Guide and train teams in resolving trouble tickets, acting as the lead technician for customer services.
  • Offer mentorship and leadership to less experienced technicians.
  • Deliver top-tier support for Meriplex Cloud and associated services.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on designated systems.
  • Ensure services are delivered according to schedule and manage support contracts effectively.
  • Oversee RMM for Managed Services Operations Center (MSOC).
  • Provide administrative and advanced user training as necessary.
  • Offer technical leadership during critical outages or service-impacting events.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Act as a leader, providing guidance and instruction to team members.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and quick to learn.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Assist in distributing workload among team members to ensure optimal customer experience.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to a diverse range of end-users and internal IT departments.
  • Effectively set expectations regarding service delivery.
  • Enhance customer relationships through exemplary service.
  • Collaborate in a team environment, treating colleagues and clients with respect.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • High-level technical certifications in relevant technology fields are highly encouraged.
  • Expertise in all major Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365.
  • 5+ years of experience with RMM tools, ConnectWise, VMware ESX/ESXi 6.x, Enterprise Cloud Backup Solutions, and Zerto 4.x.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • MS Exchange 2007 or later versions.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V experience.
  • Knowledge of Network Infrastructure Services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
Work Schedule/Travel:
  • Standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility due to workload.
  • Estimated travel requirement of 20%.
Physical Demands:

This role involves sedentary work, requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, with minimal force frequently, and/or constant movement of objects, including the human body.
