We are seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Flexpak, the leading packaging distributor in the Intermountain West. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing a sales strategy and building relationships with new and existing customers to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients, and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages
- Present our solutions to prospects, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures
- Surpass goals for monthly revenue expectations and lead or sales-generating activities
- Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
- Qualify prospective customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timeline, and other potential obstacles
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
- Proven track record in sales
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide exceptional customer service
- High school diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred
- Previous experience in the packaging industry is preferred
- Experience in distribution is a plus
