Our client, a leading heavy civil construction company, is seeking a seasoned Senior Heavy Civil/Highway Estimator to join their team in Brighton, Colorado. As a key member of the estimating team, you will be responsible for providing expert estimating services on large, complex heavy civil construction projects throughout Colorado and California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project estimates, ensuring all factors are properly considered and priced.
- Conduct site visits and investigations to gather project-specific information.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to develop constructability studies and research services for methods, costs, and construction techniques.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years of estimating experience.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with HCSS/HeavyBid estimating software.
- Background in alternative delivery projects, such as Design-Build, CMGC, and CMAR.
