Heavy Civil Project Manager

Thalle Construction is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Heavy Civil Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of labor staffing, equipment needs, and means and methods guidance for field construction projects.
This senior-level management position requires a strong background in civil construction, including estimating, project management, equipment, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration. You will work closely with Project Managers and Field Superintendents to determine labor staffing needs and ensure the successful completion of projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading construction operations, with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee labor staffing and equipment needs for field construction projects
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Field Superintendents to determine labor staffing needs
- Ensure the successful completion of projects through effective project management and coordination
- Develop and implement means and methods guidance for field construction projects
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to manage daily operational issues and improve procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum proven experience
- At least fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in civil construction
- Strong background in estimating, project management, equipment, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
