At Advocates, we seek compassionate and motivated individuals to deliver clinical and supportive services to children and families. In the Therapeutic Mentoring program, you will assist children and adolescents up to age 21 through various community-based activities.
As a Clinical Youth Mentor, your role will involve supporting, coaching, and training youth in essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution, equipping them with valuable tools for social interaction. You will collaborate with a treatment team, share insights, and learn innovative strategies while benefiting from a supportive work environment that includes regular supervision and training.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Degree
Key Responsibilities
- Engage youth in a variety of community activities
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with youth and their families
- Implement strategies to support youth and families effectively
- Provide transportation and crisis intervention as needed
- Attend essential meetings and facilitate necessary referrals
- Conduct outreach to members when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience OR Associate's degree with relevant experience OR High school diploma with relevant experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Familiarity with the CBHI system of care
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Preferred candidates will have cultural competence
- Basic proficiency in computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
