Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team at Lawrence General Hospital. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service to all requesting stations for the procurement of blood samples. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a positive friendly image to patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and enter all pertinent personal, financial, and insurance information concerning patients into the computer system (Hospital and Laboratory) via CRT, to accurately and expeditiously process inpatient and outpatient registrations and specimens and to initiate the claims process as necessary.
  • Perform limited laboratory procedures in planting, processing, expediting, and reference lab station.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • Certification from an accredited agency for Phlebotomy.
  • Data entry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal college coursework.
