HVAC Sales Account Manager for Smart Buildings

Your Role
You will be responsible for selling our HVAC solutions to building owners, management firms, mechanical contractors, designers, and consulting engineers. You will promote our value proposition by providing business and technical solutions, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Johnson Controls' offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to all members of the construction community
- Utilize sales tools effectively to plan and document progress and increase business opportunities
- Leverage the Johnson Controls sales process to close sales quickly and manage multiple ongoing opportunities
- Build partnering relationships with customers by qualifying their needs, actively listening, and using probing questions to gain a good assessment of their operational and environmental objectives
- Understand and leverage the sales process outcomes and demonstrate evidence of advancing the sell
Requirements
- 2 years' experience selling HVAC controls to engineers, contractors, and general contractors
- 2 years' experience selling to the construction industry
- An understanding and history of designing and/or selling building automation systems
- Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business, excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- BA degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years' experience selling in the construction industry
- 5 years of experience selling HVAC mechanical equipment and/or building automation systems
Career Advancement Opportunities
This role offers a competitive salary range of $75K-$90K annual base salary plus target incentive earnings. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package.
