Capital Project Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Project Engineer III to join our team at Recon Management Services. As a key member of our capital projects team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the engineering and design efforts for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project scopes, including discipline engineering requirements and estimating project man hours and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop project plans, including timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Ensure project compliance with regulatory codes and requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Develop and implement project quality control and assurance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- At least six (6) years of experience in petrochemical, chemical, offshore, pipeline, or utility industries.
- Valid driver's license.
- Professional Engineer Intern status with professional registration preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory codes and requirements in the related discipline.
- Experience with discipline-specific computer applications.
- Familiarity with key aspects of Civil, Mechanical, I/E, and Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year.
- Ability to work in protective clothing which may elevate body temperatures by several degrees Fahrenheit for periods of up to 15 minutes without a break.
- Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted.
- Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection.
- Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear.
- Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
