Position: Enrichment Program Instructor (STEM)
Compensation: $ per hour
Work Schedule: Weekdays: 3:00-5:00 PM (Part-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring enthusiasm and energy to each session, inspiring children to engage actively.
- Lead dynamic, enjoyable, safe, and educational classes that align with the YMCA's mission and objectives.
- Ensure classes cater to the diverse needs of children across various ages, levels, and abilities.
- Travel to different locations and assist in transporting necessary supplies and equipment.
- Prepare thoroughly for each class, planning activities and adapting them to suit all participants.
- Maintain awareness of emergency and safety protocols; provide care during emergencies, document incidents, and report to supervisors.
- Contribute ideas for new programs, utilizing creativity and experience to help develop innovative offerings.
- Participate in training sessions, organizational meetings, and staff gatherings as requested.
- Adhere to YMCA Human Resources and Risk Management policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to work with children.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a related activity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
