About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our ICU. As a Registered Nurse - ICU Advanced Skills, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Supervise and evaluate the nursing care provided to patients, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Participate in discharge planning and education to ensure patients and families are prepared for post-acute care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Texas.
- At least 2 years of experience in ICU nursing, with a focus on critical care.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
