Job Title: Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU and SICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage life-sustaining therapies, including mechanical ventilation, vasopressors, and dialysis
  • Perform advanced skills, such as central line placement and chest tube insertion
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU or SICU
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Work Schedule:
  • 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
