Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Performance Management Consultant for our Crop Business Unit. This position is pivotal in enhancing and scrutinizing the financial outcomes for the Crop Business Unit. The consultant will offer strategic advice and insights to the leadership team and partners, facilitating analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting to aid in the formulation and implementation of the financial strategy.
This role will report directly to the Head of Crop Finance. The preferred work locations are Anoka, MN or Schaumburg, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of financial plans and forecasts for the Crop sector, collaborating with leaders throughout the organization.
- Examine significant industry drivers and trends, presenting insights to senior management.
- Establish performance management frameworks and enforce measurement standards across various functions.
- Act as a strategic advisor and expert in financial modeling for critical Crop initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Senior Financial Planning & Performance Management Consultant I:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent with 6+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
OR - Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
AND - Proficiency in planning/forecasting models and tools like Power BI or other visualization/scorecard tools.
OR
Senior Financial Planning & Performance Management Consultant II:
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
AND - Experience with planning/forecasting models and tools like Power BI or other visualization/scorecard tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance sector (Crop experience preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CPCU, CFA, or CTP.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
