Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Level II to join our critical care transport team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient care and transportation services to critically ill and injured patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to inform treatment decisions
  • Provide respiratory care and stabilization to patients during transport
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
  • Collaborate with medical control physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain proficiency in advanced procedures and skills
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of respiratory care
  • Current RT license or temporary license as a registered petitioner in the working and residential state
  • RRT required, BSRT preferred
  • Three years clinical respiratory care experience in the Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in advanced procedures and skills bi-annually
