The Garrett Group is seeking a dedicated User Activity Monitoring (UAM) Analyst to enhance our Insider Threat Program team. This position is vital in analyzing, developing, and executing UAM policies and procedures designed to safeguard national security interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement UAM policies, procedures, and standards to identify and mitigate potential threats to national security.
- Collaborate as a key member of the Government-led Insider Threat - UAM Analysis Team, focusing on Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND).
- Fulfill DoD Cyberspace IA Workforce Improvement Program Information Assurance Manager Level 1 requirements within six months of contract award.
- Achieve the Certified Counter-Insider Threat Program - Fundamentals certification within the same timeframe.
- Assist in resolving audit alerts in line with established guidelines and contribute to the creation of dashboards, filters, and audit policy triggers to improve audit functions.
- Oversee all software support activities, including project planning, execution, and management to ensure effective oversight of software-related tasks.
- Gather and analyze requirements from clients and technical teams, providing implementation recommendations to the Government.
- Share UAM information with authorized internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Counter-Insider Threat Program.
- Ability to obtain Certified Counter-Insider Threat Program - Fundamentals (CCITP-F) certification within six months of contract award.
- Possess or obtain relevant certifications within six months of contract award, including cybersecurity certifications as per applicable policies.
- Knowledge and skills in Computer Environment (CE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
