Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing cyber threat intelligence data related to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and compiling standard and ad-hoc reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data relating to the DIB
  • Compile standard and ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Leverage expertise in cyber data and information to identify data requirements and develop intelligence products
  • Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Mentor and supervise team members as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience investigating security events, threats, or vulnerabilities within the DoD
  • Experience operating in a professional IT or cybersecurity environment
  • Experience creating reports and briefs involving cyber incidents and threats
  • Knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and practices
  • Knowledge of web penetration methodologies and applications
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with organizations such as DoD or supporting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, BASH, or Java
  • CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+ or similar certification
