Role Overview:

As a Scientist II specializing in Molecular Biology, you will engage in a variety of laboratory activities that contribute to our innovative research and development efforts. Your expertise will be crucial in advancing our understanding and application of molecular techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions on novel assays to enhance team capabilities.
  • Execute experiments that support clinical trial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to present and discuss experimental findings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in laboratory testing relevant to the specialties of our Clinical Services Lab.
  • Proficient in a wide range of molecular biology techniques through practical laboratory experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to conduct complex data evaluations.
  • Experience with next-generation sequencing technologies is essential, particularly familiarity with Ion Torrent systems.

  • Proficient in utilizing computer systems for data management, including word processing and data analysis software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
