Job Title: Staff Digital Verification Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Digital Verification Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Advanced Processing Solutions team, you will play a critical role in the development of full-custom digital and mixed signal superconducting processor circuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital verification environments using HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and HVL (SystemVerilog)
  • Develop and implement SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) for complex digital systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate verification environments
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and coverage metrics
  • Work closely with engineers to resolve verification issues and improve overall design quality
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area (BSEE or other Engineering discipline preferred) with 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and HVL (SystemVerilog)
  • Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
  • Familiarity with a coverage-driven verification methodology from planning through closure
  • Knowledge of industry standard interfaces
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages and concepts
  • US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree either MS or PhD
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics and/or Cadence Verification tools - FPGA/ASIC Design experience
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Tcl)
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
