Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Digital Verification Engineer to support ASIC and FPGA product development. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with design and verification engineers to develop and implement modern verification methods, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities:

Perform functional verification of register transfer level (RTL) code of a complex ASIC at block level and SOC level using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) and SystemVerilog.

Develop and utilize testbenches, tests, verification IP (VIP), verification models, coverage models, and extensive simulation and debug.

Generate and analyze reports and metrics, and document verification results.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline.

12+ years of digital verification engineering experience using industry standard simulation tools (10+ years with an MS degree; 7+ years with PhD).

Advanced knowledge of UVM and use of a coverage-driven verification methodology.

U.S. Citizenship and ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance with ACTIVE Polygraph required.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering discipline.

Experience with data structures, object-oriented programming languages, and concepts.

Experience with Verification IP integration and/or development.

Knowledge of industry standard bus or I/O interfaces.

Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
