About the Role

APR Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Digital Design Engineer to join our client's team in Linthicum, MD. As a key member of the Digital Technologies department, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced digital products for various applications, from undersea to outer space.

This is a 12-month or longer contract position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $65. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design concepts, experience with ASIC development, and proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog RTL coding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital products for various applications, including undersea and outer space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
  • Develop and implement DFT (Design for Testability) aspects of ASIC Design.
  • Work with test engineers to implement ATPG vectors on tester hardware.
  • Generate test patterns and analyze and debug test failures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 9+ years of relevant experience in ASIC Design.
  • Experience with Cadence, Mentor, and/or Synopsys test insertion and ATPG tools.
  • Knowledge of Synthesis, P&R, and Static Timing Analysis.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
