Strategic Planning Associate Director

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Associate Director to drive commercial strategy, franchise communications, and business operations across the Parkinson's Disease business. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in management consulting, pipeline management, sales management, or pharmaceutical marketing, with excellent analytical and strategic skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the General Manager in developing and executing strategic initiatives, including franchise story development, brand highlights, and onboarding tools.
- Build and execute a roadmap for franchise meetings, ensuring key stakeholders engage and value is driven with results-oriented outcomes.
- Develop and execute an overarching communications strategy in conjunction with the General Manager, staff, and PR/IR.
- Lead the execution of all franchise communications, collaborating with agencies and Public Relations to create content, plan delivery, and ensure accurate, timely, and engaging communications.
- Execute opportunities to drive operational effectiveness within and across the PD business and with key cross-functional partners.
- Facilitate effective and collaborative cross-functional engagements to optimize AbbVie and PD capabilities.
- Lead the development of business and operational reviews to the General Manager and Executive leadership.
- BA/BS required, MBA or advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of professional industry experience with a successful track record in management consulting, pipeline management, sales management, or pharmaceutical marketing.
- Previous experience in Sales, Communications, Corporate Strategy, and/or Brand Marketing.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives.
