Program Overview
BASF's Leadership Excellence Programs (LEPs) are designed for highly motivated, leadership-oriented PhD candidates seeking to enhance their professional skills through diverse experiential learning opportunities. Participants will engage in real-world rotational assignments across various domestic locations, exploring a spectrum of dynamic career paths that allow them to make significant contributions to BASF's objectives and clientele.
Throughout the program, participants will not only expand their knowledge and skill sets but also gain valuable insights into their own strengths and aspirations. This initiative provides an immersive introduction to BASF's core values and culture, equipping participants to thrive in their future roles.
Program Highlights:
- Our 24-month cross-functional program features three eight-month assignments, offering exposure to various technologies and exciting career prospects at BASF while developing a comprehensive understanding of our industry.
- Mobility is essential, as assignments will occur in different locations throughout the U.S., each focusing on a distinct business unit.
- The initial assignment will leverage participants' scientific expertise and take place at one of our Research, Development, and Technical hubs, ensuring a solid technical foundation for subsequent roles.
- Upon completing the rotational program, participants may receive opportunities in research, development, or applications across multiple domains, including materials, organic chemicals, polymers, agrochemicals, biotechnology, and quality improvement.
