We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Account Representative to join our team at Professional Finance Company Inc. As a Patient Account Representative, you will play a critical role in helping patients resolve their accounts in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve account issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate with patients to understand their financial obligations and provide clear explanations of their account balances.
- Work with patients to negotiate payment arrangements and secure timely repayment of accounts.
- Update demographic information on patient accounts and verify patient identities prior to disclosing information.
- Disposition accounts appropriately once the file has been worked.
- Meet productivity standards and adhere to Key Performance Indicators.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical office experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain workflow standards.

- Physical demands: While performing duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Working environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal and moderate.
The hourly wage for this position is $16-$20 per hour.
