Mechanical Shop Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shop Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will play a role in supporting the movement of essential products and materials that help feed, clothe, supply, and power communities throughout America and the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping work areas clean and orderly and operating industrial maintenance equipment within a shop environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklift, mobile crane, track mobile, shop tractor, and power hand tools
- Sand, fuel, and clean locomotives
- Clean and organize shop work areas (sweep and clean work surfaces, store parts, empty and discard garbage)
- Operate power-driven equipment such as a vacuum cleaner, electric broom or steam cleaning gun
This is a safety-sensitive work environment, and the successful candidate will be required to work in extreme all-weather conditions, walk and perform work on uneven surfaces, and handle hazardous materials.
We offer a competitive salary range of $26.86-$32.69/hr with annual pay of $55,872 - $67,995 with 5 years seniority.
