Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Location: Santa Maria, CA/San Luis Obispo, CA/Paso Robles, CA

Compensation: $25+/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVACR systems.
  • Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance services.
  • Stay current on all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of commercial HVACR service experience.
  • Valid driver's license with no DUI, DUID, or DWAI convictions in the past 36 months.
  • Associate degree, HVAC trade school certification, or 5-year apprenticeship program.
  • EPA approved universal technician certification.
  • 2 years of DDC experience, preferred.
  • Low voltage electrical certification, preferred.
