Zaxby's Restaurant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our Zaxby's team. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales by delivering outstanding product and service to our customers.
  • Monitor and improve training levels to ensure that our Team Members and Shift Managers are equipped to provide top-notch service.
  • Execute all systems on a daily basis to maintain a clean, organized restaurant that delivers high-quality food and best-in-class service.
  • Operate within established performance and profit expectations set by corporate.
  • Supervise and motivate Team Members and Shift Managers to perform at their highest level.
  • Assume responsibility for preventive maintenance of our equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, marketing, and the Director of Operations.
  • Recruit and hire hourly staff (FOH & BOH) in accordance with our guiding principles.
  • Assist the Marketing Director with the execution of marketing plans.
  • Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, and a positive mental attitude towards company objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Restaurant Management.
  • Understanding of FOH and BOH operations.
  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Time Management.
  • Able to understand PL and Inventory Statements.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to be Adaptable.
  • Ability to work and lead with a Team.
  • Ability to motivate a Team.
  • Decision Maker.
  • High school Graduate (required).
