Job Summary

As a Hose Assembler Technician at Teknor Apex, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and secure fittings to ends of hoses using internal or external expansion machines.
  • Coil hoses, attach labels, secure with wire ties, visually inspect, and place directly onto the take-away belt or in cartons.
  • Cross-train to supply unassembled cartons to finishing tables, operate computerized label printers, and perform required quality checks.
  • Maintain production records and distribute copies to designated personnel.
  • Perform finished goods visual quality inspections.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Good manual and mechanical dexterity.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential.
