Job Title: Diesel Technician

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and A/C components
  • Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including fueling and tire changes
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and environments
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days and nights as needed
