Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better
Requirements
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
