Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Lab Manager to lead the Integrated Technologies Development Laboratories engineering team.

The chosen candidate will oversee a variety of projects encompassing laboratory operations, electrical and mechanical rack design, laboratory construction, and security protocols.

The engineering manager will demonstrate expertise in designing and constructing engineering laboratories while guiding multiple engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.

The selected manager will be accountable for resource management, process optimization, personnel oversight, budget adherence, and scheduling across engineering initiatives and laboratories. Building and maintaining relationships with various business units within Boeing is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervises personnel engaged in engineering and technical functions within Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Formulates and implements project and process strategies, enforces policies and procedures, and establishes operational targets.
Secures resources for projects and processes, provides technical oversight of suppliers, and spearheads process enhancements.
Develops and sustains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Oversees and approves technical methodologies, products, and processes.
Manages, nurtures, and inspires team members.
This position requires full-time onsite presence.
This role necessitates an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government mandates U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Prior experience in laboratory operations.
Prior experience in Simulation and/or System Integration Lab environments.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
