Job Overview

Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of Steel Technologies by preparing items for delivery to our clients and meeting their expectations. Essentially, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the finished products reach the right destination in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support the packing team on correct packing procedures in accordance with sales orders.
  • Manage the flow of packaged goods to the weighing stations.
  • Examine packages to confirm correct materials, dimensions, identification, packaging, and weight.
  • Weigh packages and input data into the AS 400 system, generating tags and documenting orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify tags against sales orders to confirm completeness and correctness of information.
  • Balance production at the conclusion of each order.
  • Document and analyze production as necessary.
  • Account for all materials and production flow to the administrative office upon completion.
  • Oversee the movement of goods to and from weighing stations to storage areas.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks of tagging and packaging supplies.
  • Perform daily accuracy checks on weighing equipment.

Qualifications for Success:
