Position Overview

The Sales Strategist will play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing new business prospects through networking, collaboration with channel partners, and self-initiated opportunities. This position requires the execution of proactive prospecting strategies to engage key decision-makers within potential client organizations. The Sales Strategist will oversee the complete sales cycle, including post-sale and implementation processes, negotiate pricing and service scope with prospective clients, and ensure the completion of necessary sales documentation and client service agreements. Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast is essential, along with achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct analysis, planning, and implementation of products and services tailored to client needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and broker practices.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Manage renewal proposals and processes for existing clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive executive summaries for client presentations.
  • Schedule regular meetings with clients to address inquiries and concerns during the implementation phase.
  • Collect data to provide insights and direction on products, services, marketing, sales, and other business-related areas.
  • Develop lead generation strategies and utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to monitor activities.
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all services provided to assigned clients.
  • Participate in monthly consulting meetings and provide training and coaching to staff.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales role.
