Position Overview

As a consultant, you will be responsible for conducting field operations in compliance with relevant laws, standards, and our internal guidelines. Your role will involve effective communication with clients, Land Solutions team members, Project Coordinators, and Managers to ensure project timelines are adhered to and field documentation is precise.
  • Conduct field operations as directed by the Project Manager and clients, focusing on land and easement acquisition in the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Engage with landowners, the Land Solutions team, and project stakeholders to facilitate communication.
  • Support office tasks as needed by Team Lead Admin, Project Coordinator, or management.
  • Provide regular updates to the Administrator, other Land Agents, and Project Coordinators as necessary.
  • Adapt to project changes, including area adjustments, scope modifications, and assignment relocations.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of new initiatives and procedures to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Prioritize safety for yourself and others, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and participating in training programs.
  • Adhere to Land Solutions policies and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain daily interactions with colleagues across all Land Solutions offices and field personnel.
  • Engage with Project Coordinators, Negotiation Agents, Land Analysts, and management on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
  • Demonstrate initiative for ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality results and services.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Right of Way or Surface Land Agent in land acquisition within the US.
  • Experience in title work, renewables, power, and transmission is essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant acts, guidelines, and regulations across various US states.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficient understanding of surface title and abstracts.
  • Daily access to a personal phone, computer, and vehicle is necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel and stay out of town for extended periods, if necessary.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience, with a minimum salary of $94,000 USD annually.
