Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to enhance our client's team in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt and precise support for end-user devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers on behalf of technical teams.
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Evaluate vendor packages and implement approved software solutions.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Consult with team leads and management regarding equipment issues and propose solutions.
  • Facilitate end-user training and maintain clear documentation.
  • Generate status reports, problem-resolution summaries, and inventory reports as needed.
  • Install and relocate desktop hardware and software, including operating systems and standard applications.
  • Document detailed descriptions in help desk tickets, including troubleshooting steps taken.
  • Adhere to AIT standards for devices and software.
  • Collaborate with networking and server teams to ensure proper connectivity.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on authorized systems devices.
  • Assist with inventory management and purchasing processes.
  • Maintain and update Service Desk tickets to track all IT support activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procedural documentation.
  • Contribute to inventory management and spare hardware records.
  • Participate in site audits to verify equipment accuracy.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines.
  • Support fellow technicians to enhance teamwork and customer service.
  • Meet established service level agreements (SLAs) for incidents and requests.
  • Deploy applications using workstation management software.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a desktop support role within a corporate environment.
    • Ability to learn new systems independently.
    • Commitment to continuous learning of new technologies and processes.
  • Preferred:
    • Associate's degree in a computer or technology-related field.
  • Certifications:
    • A+ Certification; Security, Network+, or MTA certification within 180 days of hire.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Internet Browsers and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems.
    • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and workstation management software.
    • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work with various software applications.
  • Preferred Knowledge:
    • Experience in the healthcare sector.
    • Exposure to enterprise environments.
