**The Role**

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Hendersonville. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing phlebotomy services for inpatient and outpatient populations, as well as receiving, handling, and processing laboratory specimens.

**Responsibilities**

Follow departmental and regulatory policies for proper patient and specimen identification.

Perform venipuncture procedures in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner following departmental and regulatory standards and policies.

Perform alternate specimen collection methods, i.e., heelsticks and fingersticks in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner following departmental and regulatory standards and policies.

Identify and conduct problem resolution for preanalytical specimen issues.

Utilize Laboratory Information System for all specimen processing and handling functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow.

**Requirements**

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous phlebotomy experience required.
